Thank you for your interest in launching and leading a Drive-Thru Hope site. Our desire is to encourage and empower you with the resources you need.

This document is an initial overview, and we also have a detailed playbook with all of the specific logistics we have used at our site in the greater Seattle area.

We are here to serve and pray for you as you embark on this wonderful journey.

Neighbors will be loved, lives will be transformed, and God will be glorified as you offer the hope of Jesus to your community.

Vision: To provide an opportunity for neighbors to receive prayer, hope, and God’s presence.

We want to be faithful, as the Spirit leads, to listen, ask questions, pray, and have conversations. We share the love and truth of Jesus, as we trust God with the results.

Drive-Thru Hope sites would multiply locally and globally as our hearts and homes are saturated with the hope of Jesus.

Approach:  As guests drive or walk in for prayer, team members are trained to warmly welcome them, empathetically listen, and then respond as the Holy Spirit guides.

We grieve with those who are grieving.  We connect by sharing our own struggles, how God meets us in the pain, and how to receive the infinite hope of Jesus.

There are so many people in our communities who are ready to hear about Jesus’ death and resurrection and learn how to abide with Jesus daily. 

Begin by praying for the specific needs that were shared. Then, as appropriate, offer Bibles or other resources for guests to take with them.

Drive-Thru Hope is a safe place where seeds are planted and Jesus changes lives.

Powerful Benefits Of This Ministry

Live with purpose
Jesus gave us the great commission to make disciples, and the great commandment to love our neighbors. Drive-Thru Hope team members have repeated opportunities to serve people, respond with compassion, be an instrument of healing, share their personal testimony, give away Bibles, and lead people into a relationship with God. Many of the guests also are interested in finding a home church and a community of faith.

Go to where people are
Drive-Thru Hope is very safe and approachable.Many guests who have never attended a church, or who haven’t for a long time, experience authentic Christian community.

We need to move beyond the walls of the church and our comfort zones, as we take relationship risks together.

Grow in your faith
Team members train, disciple, and encourage each other.Praying together before the event and debriefing afterwards is incredibly valuable. More experienced team members pair up with less experienced team members.

Drive-Thru Hope is like going on a mission trip as you rely on God and are doers of God’s word together.

Inspire your city
God moves through Drive-Thru Hope in amazing ways. People walking and driving by are encouraged by sign holders who are waving and smiling. God answers prayer and brings restoration. You spread the aroma of Christ in your city. Serving together strengthens relationships.

Leadership development is intentional. Churches are mobilized. Drive-Thru Hope changes the spiritual temperature and shines the light of God in your community. To Jesus be all the glory.
